Lithium-ion battery is rechargeable battery,which works by the movement of lithium ions between the positive and negative electrodes. During charging, Li+ is embedded from the positive electrode, embedding into the negative electrode through the electrolyte, and the negative electrode is in a lithium-rich state; during discharge, the opposite is true.

1. SAFE:The P-O bond in the lithium iron phosphate crystal is very stable and difficult to decompose. Even at high temperature or overcharge, it will not collapse and generate heat or form strong oxidizing substances, so it has good safety.
2. Longer life time:The life cycle of lead-acid batteries is about 300 times,while the life cycle of lithium iron phosphate power batteries is more than 3,500 times ,the theoretical life is about 10 years.
3. Good performance in high temperature:The operating temperature range is -20℃ to +75℃, with high temperature resistance, the electric heating peak of lithium iron phosphate can reach 350℃-500℃, much higher than lithium manganate or lithium cobaltate 200℃.
4. Large capacity Comparing to Lead acid battery,LifePO4 has a larger capacity than ordinary batteries.
5. No memory:No matter what state the lithium iron phosphate battery is in, it can be used at any time, no memory, unnecessary to discharge it before charging.

Under a special charger, the battery can be fully charged within 40 minutes of 1.5C charging, and the starting current can reach 2C, while the lead-acid battery does not have this performance now.
The LiFePO4 battery is the safest type of lithium battery. Phosphate based technology possesses superior thermal and chemical stability which provides better safety characteristics than those of Lithium-ion technology made with other cathode materials. Lithium phosphate cells are incombustible in the event of mishandling during charge or discharge, they are more stable under overcharge or short circuit conditions and they can withstand high temperatures. LifePO4 has a very high thermal runaway temperature when compared to the other types at approximately 270℃ as compared to as low as 150℃. LiFePO4 is also more chemically robust when compared to other variants.
